Children's Ministries

Opportunities for your children to grow

Children are very important at Faith Chapel, and we believe one of our greatest responsibilities and privileges as a church are to teach your children the truths of God's Word. All children’s workers have been cleared to work with children. Each worker has both their Pennsylvania State Police and ChildLine clearances. In addition, anyone who has lived outside the state of Pennsylvania during the past ten years also has an FBI clearance. We have many different avenues by which we strive to achieve this, from nursery age all the way through high school.

Junior Church

Our Junior Church program is a special weekly service designed for children ages 4 through 6th grade. Children begin worship at 10:15 in the auditorium with their parents. They are then usually dismissed to Junior Church during the handshaking/greeting time.  The format for Junior Church typically includes prayer, singing, a review of the MAIN Rules, and then a Bible lesson. After review the children are divided into two groups: Age three through 2nd grade, and 3rd grade through 6th grade.  Following the Bible lesson, the two groups again merge to play review games until dismissed.  Parents need to pick up their children from Junior Church (room 17 upstairs) at the conclusion of the adult service.

Master Clubs

On Sunday evenings during the school year, we have a great ministry for children.  We use Master Clubs, a Christian  ministry with similarities to scouting.  Through these clubs, we strive to help boys and girls grow spiritually as well as in other practical ways.  Children can earn over 100 different badges.

Just a few examples include: Bible Study 1-3, Athletics, Camping, Life of Christ 1-3, Proverbs, Family, Gift of Helps, First Aid, Prayer Warrior, etc.

There are three age groups for children:

Ages 4 & 5 - Beginners -"God's Little Lambs"

Grades 1-3 - Primaries - "Primaries for Christ"

Grades 4-6 - Juniors - "Ambassadors"

Master Clubs

Our clubs meet Sunday evenings from 6:30 until 8:00 PM.

Students in our Ambassadors Department also participate in a regional competition, held each spring in Maryland.  Master Clubs are a ministry of  First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio.  Visit for more information and for Master Clubs games.
